Its not worth it. The stick wont be as stron as it used to be. Do you know how much force is put on a stick just from a wrist shot? Its amazing watching the stick flex that much. So no dont bondo it, just go get a new one.

No way! I wouldn't like to be playing opposite you when it breaks my bones - you would probably offer to Bondo my leg or cheek up also : )

Ask around, you can probably buy a used one reasonably. Sometimes schools or teams have lost-property sales at the end of the season, maybe you could borrow one between matches until then?

Not to the same strength the stick had to begin with. Bondo is just a filler, used to cosmetically repair body work. It is not as strong as the underlying metal or fiberglass.

Even a new layer of fiberglass won't be as strong as the original stick.

Bondo might be handy to repair a stick you keep as a souveneir.

Buy a new stick. My husband had this happen to him and he tried to glue the separation point and then he retaped it and it got worse with every smack of the puck. He has a 2 piece so he just had to but a new blade, but I still suggest you get a new stick or you could try asking someone in your local hockey shop and see if they can fix it. The new stuff they are doing with fixing broken shafts is great so maybe they is hope for your stick.

You honestly "could" Bondo it, but it would never be strong enough to take a slap shot with again. Plus, the stick will have lost all of its flexibility so it really wouldn't be worth it.

Only if you are doing it for the looks. bondo will not provide the needed strength. If you cannot afford a new stick you could reglass it, but I would not reccomend that unless you have done it before.

Probably not, but there are a few smaller companies out there that will professionally repair a broken fiberglass stick. I saw a show on TV showing one who repaired sticks for WHL players, so the repair must work.

Yes,you can find fiberglass repair kits at Hardware stores, possibly at automotive stores, and if your lucky enough to know someone who runs a body shop they will probably have it to.The only problem you may or will have is, getting the stick in it"s factory made position, angle and such.if you try patience will help you mostly
