i love shopping and designing clothes and i would love to be a fashion designer. how can i become one at the age i am now?

You'll need to finish school and go to an art school to train. However, why not start getting the skills you need right now?
Can you use a sewing machine or do hand-sewing? If not, why not get those skills, or improve them? You may be able to do this in school, or through evening classes.
Reading fashion magazines and journals so you are acquainted with designers and trends would be useful, but if you love fashion you probably already do that!
Finally, it would be a good idea to look at the courses available at various art schools now, so you can see what the entry requirements are, so you can think about it when making your choices at school in the next few years. You don't say where you are -- maybe your next question should be "What are good art schools for studing fashion in my country?"

im 14 nd i want to be a fashion designer too! u cant really become a pro until u go through college nd stuff but u can practice. in some schools they offer courses for designing. look through magazines nd in the mall to see hwtas in and then get a sketchbook and sketch your own drawings. some colleges offer courses for teens to take over the summer, like FIT

You can't. You need to graduate from high school first and then enter an art school.
