...What would it be? Here's the catch; it has to be a non selfish wish that you think would help mankind as a whole.

Mine would be for everyone, everywhere to suddenly start caring about other people more than themselves. There would be no more war because no one wouldever want to kill another person. There would be no more hunger or poverty because everyone would share what they had with the less fortunate. Everyone would have equil rights because those in power would care enough about them to give it to them. No more evil dictators, no more people living in fear.

What would your wish for mankind be?

My wish for mankind would be that we all accept the differences in each other and learn to cohabitate and make this world a better place. No matter what race, religion or language, we all need to respect one another's individuality. The world is not about who's better or more powerful than the other, its about basic survival on a day to day basis and holding a friend's hand and helping them along the way when they need it.

I'm very concerned about your statement, everyone caring about others more than themselves. Taken to the extreme, this would mean I could never eat, because I would always want to give someone else my sandwich. Eventually, would I starve? Maybe I wouldn't, because someone else would make me eat their sandwich.

I like your wish, though. I think I would use slightly different words. Everyone would continue caring about themselves first. However, it would make them happy to help others. Self-preservation comes first (i.e. make sure you are well-fed so you're strong, and capable of helping others). But then care about your friends, family, and all of humanity as a very close second. We would all enjoy helping others, and therefore we would do it all the time. Thereby leading to decreased poverty, no dictators coming to power, no fear of others.

Good question. :)

I would wish to be King of Earth. If I were King no one would starve and all wars would cease after I cleaned this place up. Since there would be no more wars my administration would actively pursue space exploration. Planets would be modified and colonized. I would also push research into immortality. Our scientists would come up with ways to prevent cells from aging so people could be 1000 years old yet look 30. This would all happen if I were King.

Good question...but perplexing answers.

How about I analyze all the answers including your own.

Girl Wonder..
Caring for everyone else sounds nice, but if you wish this for EVERYONE then the starving, homeless and all the less fortunate people would not be thinking of themselves either and would continue to stay that way as they give away everything that is given to them by others...their would be no change. Just a bunch of stuff that turns to junk from being passed around to everyone in the world. Be careful what you wish for. You might get that fruit cake back...

BrownEyedGirl:
You would eliminate MILLIONS of jobs and opportunities for people to help others. How can anyone know happiness with out knowing sad? You would not have anything to compare it to. Be careful what you wish for. You might not get to leave your house for your wish to come true.

Annie:
What world do you live in? Everyone DOES have a talent of their own; they either don't use it or are too scared to find it. But it's there. Be careful what you wish for, it's already their and you just wasted your wish.

raelovesmazzy:
I don't want to even go there. Can you imagine the chaos this would create? Be careful what you wish for. Someone might wish to take all your wishes.

hotmamacita:
If everyone had the same mind the same maturity and the same caring ability you would take away the very thing that makes people unique, almost all people have these things in varying amounts. Be careful what you wish for. You might help bad people to be better, but you will make allot of highly motivate people slow down. Where would advancement in medical and other technology be then?

purplebutter...:
World peace is already coming...if you believe in the coming of Christ. Be careful what you wish for. Christ might not need to come. What knowledge would be lost from his teachings?

shoppingcart...:
Can you imagine the population explosion that this would create...Be careful what you wish for. You think our ecomomy is bad now, how about all those people that are living in filth and pestilence in third world countries, you would torture them for decades.

smirk&laugh:
I like this one...but super heroes that go bad? That might not be a good thing. Be careful what you wish for. Everyone is susceptible to temptation.

Katie:
Sorry I think you have things mixed up. It was Satin that wanted to force everyone to except God in the beginning. God wanted us to have freedom of choice. Since God's will won, Satin got mad and promised to destroy man. Be careful what you wish for. You could be knocking at the gates of hell.

nolongeramused:
You would take away HOPE? Be careful what you wish for. I HOPE your wish only affects you.

liddykitty93:
Please read my response to Katie this is the same thing Satin wanted also. God wanted us to have freedom of choice. Be careful what you wish for. You might meet Katie in hell.

SunshineSpar...:
They already have, most people don't recognize it though. If you believe in God and Jesus Christ, they already showed us if you know where to look for it. Be careful what you wish for. You have wasted your wish, maybe you should have wished for us to recognize the love we have been given.

Vanillace:
Well if everyone had boobs where would you place you desires then. Be careful what you wish for. You would have boobs too.

I'm not trying to be a pessimist just want people be more selfish.

I would wish for a stronger desire to improve myself to be a better person and husband to my wife.

Thank you for your attention.

I don't live for wishes. I operate in the real world and do what I can for real people. Everyone that's in my ability to help. No wishes. Reality only. Why sit there and wish when you can go DO something for someone.

I wish for everyone on earth to immediately forget the idea of religion, and god. for all religious thoughts to vanish and for people to realize we are upon our own and need each other to survive as a species.
Were we to do this gone would be the reason for most all wars, the reason fo rmost over population.

I would wish for a cure for all debilitating diseases. No more Lou Gehrig's disease, MS, CRPS, Alzheimer's. Life is hard enough without having to deal with losing a little more of yourself each day.
