Or do you just jump into it hoping for the best?

First, thanks God for the new day, ask Him to help you make the most of your day; because it could be your last, stretch your body while still in bed, then sit on the edge of your bed and slowly bend over and touch the floor, stretching our your spine, then slowly raise up and you're good to go. Oh, also, if you get a chance, go sit outside with your morning beverage and take in the sunshine, and the sounds of the morning. This is quite peaceful. I even wrote a poem about it once.

My day begins getting my 3-year old daughter ready for daycare. How the day goes is usually reflected in our interaction before I get her there. I'm expecting a really great today.

She asked to pick out her own clothes. She chose a Spongebob Squarepants pair of shorts. She declined to wear a Spongebob t-shirt as it was too repitive. She instead chose a t-shirt with a pineapple on it ("who lives in a pineapple under the sea?"). This was accessorized with a bag shoulder hand bag containing a plush lion and five sticks of Juicy Fruit chewing gum. The piece de la resistance was the single pink cotton glove.

How could I dare have a bad day after having that kind of start?

Laughter is the best medicine. Fortunately for me, I work in a Noodle Factory. We put noodles in boxes. Now matter how you look at your job, or life, most of it is pretty simple. All of the problems I find at work, are the result of interpersonal conflicts between very silly people doing a very simple job. It's not hard to see something funny in that environment! It usually takes about ten minutes, and lo and behold something very silly happens, and I'm good for the rest of the day. Have you ever seen a silly person try to get a lot of tape off of both hands? I guess you just had to be there...

I would usually list out what I need to do for the day on the night before and I would have arranged my clothes and what I will have for lunch in the fridge.
I would take a nice hot shower and have my favourite scent ready as well.

I'm being serious here so dont think i'm joking, but I have to go to the bathroom, number 1, every morning before work. I drive over an hour to work at 5am, so If i don't go before I leave, i'm not gonna have a good day.

Everyday before you get out of bed say to yourslef that you are going to have a good day and then believe that you are going to have a good day. Your mind has to be set that way or you will just have a bad day.

Before I get out of bed, I read a couple of passages in the bible. Then I pray as soon as my feet hit the floor.

I also found that instead of watching the news, I watch something funny to get me in a good mood (I usually watch Mama's Family).

It's a mind set, If you keep telling your self your going to have a good day no matter what. You will. Positive thinking is key.

I spend at least 10 minutes in the morning, and 10 minutes at night right before going to sleep in sincere prayer. I pray that Gods will will be done, I pray that I shall acquire understanding of love (I'm clueless) and I pray selfishly, that when its time for me to die, I pray its quick and hopefully painless.
