My husband and I were trying to conceive and I took an EPT test (+/-) and it was a +... just to be sure I bought some First Response tests (1 line not pregnant, 2 lines pregnant)... and I had 2 lines. The next day I re-took one of each and they were positive as well. (4 positive tests now)... We both really want this baby, we are not on anything for infertility, nor are we on any medications... what are the chances that these tests are incorrect?
Note: I have a doctor's appointment made up as well.

I had the same concerns as you, I ended up taking 4 hpt tests, each were positive and I hadn't seen my doctor yet, I wondered how accurate those things were as well. Anyway it turns out they are 99 % accurate and they are as accurate as the urine hcg tests they will give you at a doctors office. Getting a false positive basically never happens unless you are on fertility drugs, birth control or any kind of drug that could affect your hormones. I am now 11 weeks and was in denial until I had my first appointment at 8 weeks with an ultrasound and saw a baby in there! Then I was convinced. So definately, you should have confidence in those hpt's.....you are pregnant, congrats!

Those tests are about as goof proof as science can make them. Their accuracy is pretty close to 100%- well over 99%. The odds of them being bad would be literally one in 100

99% accurate. You are pregnant. If they all said positive, congrats. It's very RARE to have a false positive.

they are very accurate....i learned with my first pregnancy that only one test is needed! when i got pregnant the first time i bought 10 pregnancy tests (most were only a dollar at the dollar store lol)....but then i miscarried...and got pregnant again...that time i took 3....now that i am pregnant again i only took one...so the answer to your question.....yes your pregnant....congrats!
