the best way to go about it is to put in a resignation slip. it helps with teh paperwork. however, as you said that feels too formal, you might try just telling your boss that you have found a better offer somewhere else. he probably won't be happy, but, few people like it when someone quits, because they most likely haven't been looking for a replacement. if he is abusive in any way, you can threaten to file a legal suit, if that is condusive to how you feel. those are expensive though, so be ready to follow through with it. also, make sure your other offer is secure. you can usually accept beforehand, and that will give you time and confidence to to quit your job.

This is easy... I say this because 1. you've only been there 3 weeks and if you got this job on your own not by "who you know" then leaving will not be a problem. 2. you see what kind of person you're working for so there will be no love loss nor will you loose any sleep at night. 3. you can write a two line resignation and make it sufficient and professional. 4. and the best one of them all... you all ready have another position waiting for you.
I SAY, GO FOR IT!

Talk to them..If they get rude or yell.. just think..it's over with now, you did your part.. if you don't want to be there, and if it isn't for you..runnnnnnnnn hahah
I know what it's like.. I left my old job too... the management wasn't into the best condition in my opinion, and I had enough.
Try to be polite as possible, and keep thinking.. I'll be out of there after this !! Freedom! So just stick through it, and you won't be there for long, I had a few papers to fill out, and there wasn't any words exchanged, we were both professional about the situation, I thought something was going to be said also, but it wasn't, I was just nervous about the whole ordeal, but there's nothing to it really, grin and bear it for a few min's, then your out the door! Then you can sigh in relief!

firstly, in case you comprehend this interest is a stepping stone on your dream interest, do no longer end it. What you do is you're taking a word e book and write down every time she treats you inappropriately and verify you place up a record of criticism to her higer-up, even in the journey that your comments are exceeded over. verify you be as specified as attainable and write the date. Her treating you like this is in basic terms a start to her incredibly messing up and whilst she does, (ie breaks the regulation, steals some thing, and so on) they're going to take all your comments of mistreatment and which will supply her boss ammunition to can her. My pal became into mistreated with the aid of his boss- made him do time beyond regulation with out pay, talked **** approximately him at the back of his decrease back to different workers, issues like that and he took notes and notes and notes of ALL her behaviors and sometime, she went too a techniques and stole money from the risk-free, which she did all of the time yet, this time she left a word explaining it became right into a private loan and could return the money to the risk-free next week. He took a photograph, it included her signature and he or she have been given fired and now my pal has the optimal paying interest interior the save.

Just give him or her a letter of resignation. Don't worry about upsetting the guy, because he or she is the one that's not professional. If he's rude, say some joke or be sarcastic so that the joke goes over his head. It's always good to have the last laugh around jerk bosses

If you want to be nice, turn in your two week notice. If he yells or is rude, tell him 'never mind about the notice, I quit' and leave. If you have another job, that's great, and it's a better opportunity makes it even greater.
Will the other job wait for you to put in a two week notice or do they want you now? If they'll wait, it'll look better if you can do the two week notice, if not, quit now and get it over with.

Ok, you've only had this job for 3 weeks. You probably won't use this boss as a reference or put it on your resume (otherwise you'll look like a flaky job-hopper). If you don't want to deal with your boss, then call his/her voice mail and leave a message not to expect you at work ever again. Atleast they will know to find coverage for you the next working day until they find someone else. And remember, DON'T put this job on your resume!

if it has only been 3 weeks, and you have another opportunity, just go ahead to the other job, when your boss realizes that you arent there, he will know that oyu have quit. look at it this way, would your boss give you a 2 week notice that he is going to fire you?

The proper thing to do is give your two week notice in writing. Basically say thank you for this opportunity.
