Upset- no; a little sad yes. But my dad is 66 and he looks good and moves around really well for his age despite being a smoker. No one really likes getting old - esp when you wonder if you could still take care of yourself when you get old. Just try making the most of what time you have for yourself and with other people.

my dad had a heart attach last year December 17Th. we lost him 9 times.. they kept bringing him back and they said the 10 th time he is not going to come back. he spent 3 weeks in the hospital in bad shape and in that 3 weeks i thought i was going to die with him. he pulled out of it and then looked at me and said i came back for you brat... . i knew that my dad was getting old but it never hit me til he got sick. and my mom was always the beauty queen she used to put makeup on at night to go to bed! now my mom wears old lady clothes and does not leave her house.. it makes me so upset when i take her to the doctors and they are telling her what is wrong with her.. I got so used to having a cool mom that would go shopping for hours and do everything with me.. now her knees are bad needs surgery takes 14 pills a day. i cry all the time because i know my dad does not go much more time here and my mom is just getting old and i know she got some years left in her but i cant help to think what am i going to do when they are gone.

No, I don't get upset over my parent's aging. It is a part of life, and I know they have had a good life, and many, many more good years to come.

Ok go home and watch Lion king.. It is the circle of life baby… Enjoy them today because they won’t be here tomorrow. I live each day like that. With car accidents and all other forms of chaos it is lucky we have today.

It is scary. I am 35, my mom is 69. Her legs hurt now, and her hips. It is depressing. I guess thats the way life goes. You can't do anything to change it. We have to get old too. Think positive!

Yes.
I was that way to with my parent's.
Now I am that way with my husband at age 60,I am scared of losing him now to!!!
When the parent's go,that's when you know it's your turn, wow.
When you are younger, you never think of that stuff, huh.
Good luck.
Take care.
Sharon.

no - because I have told my mother that it is payback time when I get to dress her as silly as she dressed me when I was a kid!!! It's gonna be on momma you hear me! Remember the pretty dresses when I was a tomboy mom - yeah you know what I'm talking about!

If I dwell on it,yes. Instead of worrying about it, make time to spend with them and create more memories. You'll be glad you did.
