Your question is worded a bit oddly, but I'll give it go and hope I'm scratching where you are itching.
The very word 'Jew" comes from "Judah". Judah was one of the the twelve sons of Jacob. Each tribe was named after one of his sons (or grandsons). So linguistically he Jews are the tribe of Judah.
If you're with me so far, let's go on to "Israel".
"Israel" is another name for "Jacob". Jacob is the name he was born with and God gave him the name "Israel".
So Israel is the father of Judah. Or, to put in your terms, the nation of Israel is composed of the twelve tribes or clans of Israel, of which one is Judah.
Throughout history and through a whole series of historical events the words Jew and Israelite have become synonymous.
And the reason for this is probably that the authority, the rulership, the Kingship of the twelve tribes was given to Judah.
So it's not a matter of owning, as you have stated it,
it is a matter of being. The Jews are Israel, and the head the of the twelve tribes of Israel.

So what? In any case, it does not give the Israelis the right to do what they are doing now in the Middle East - they are killing and maiming innocent people and causing undue destruction of property and infrastructure in neighboring lands! They ought to be ashamed of calling themselves Jews who were once the victims of similar cruelty at the hands of Nazis! And, they were driven to the land they are occupying now in Palestine! So, they cannot claim to be owners of any tribes in Israel or whatever other name you assign it!
