Why do Republicans care about what is going on outside this country......?

more than whats going on inside this country? I'm not repub. or demo. but, I have noticed that more is done inside this country when there is a democrat in office. There is wars when you have Republicans.. is it a difference in forein policy? How do we get passed all this party differences without everyone thinking they are getting the sh-t end of the stick?

When some guy was asked why he robbed banks, his answer was "Thats where the money is". America is a capitalistic system and the wealth of the world is coveted by the elite ruling class who wish to add to their profits by absorbing the wealth of the world. The republicans are more experienced and have been in the game longer and they are much better at it than the democrats. They are more organized in their designs on the rest of the world. The knowledge they have gained from the history of global expanision and conquest is unparalled in the world.

Where do you get your history facts? Every war throughout the history of the united states has begun with the conscious effort of a Democrat except for this war. So your facts are wrong.

Republicans obviously have the ability to do more than one thing at a time. The programs we have in the US are funded very well. So what do you think needs attention? Illegal Aliens? There has been a plan put forth and they are working the details. Not fast enough in my book though.

You are obviously new to politics or you would already have figured this out on your own.

Republicans are more concerned with earning foreign assets than what is going on in this country....Clinton was a first and he did do a lot for this country domestically and internationally, but todays democrats are scared, really scared....But the republicans will say they care and all that stuff but thats only to keep up their popularity, and their eyes are focused on financial gain.....ohhh and no matter who gets voted into office rep or dem the people will usually get the s--t end of the stick...but 'terrorists' and all that junk just allows the reps to stay in thos countries, while we are the ones terrorizing and invading

Because Republicans go where the money is! They start wars over money, like the government is their personal grab the wealth tool!

The only people who are going to be left in the Republican party is corporations, who pay no tax, while exporting jobs.

Rebumlicans don't care about our country or or troops generally! How could they condone cut in the Veterans hospitals while we have been at war for over 3 Years!

The basic philosopies of the parties go kind of like this:

REPUBS: "the more money being made by rich people, the better, because then they'll spend that money and it'll eventually trickle down to the poor people who form most of the tax base". Therefore, they give tax breaks to major corporations (many of which are international, therefore their interest in foreign events) and do their best to serve the interests of the corporations - frequently without much thought of how those concessions will affect the rest of us. (Just look at our environmental policy and the war in Iraq!)

DEMS: "The poor and middle classes are the backbone of our economy and our main tax base. Therefore, we need to give them lots of goodies and spread the wealth as much as we can." This translates to free or low-cost health programs, low-income housing, increases to minimum wage, and other programs designed to take care of the people inside the US rather than paying so much attention to the world outside.

George Washington warned us about the dangers of party politics. Unfortunately, we didn't listen - or maybe are simply unable to avoid it.

Because when taking over after 8 years of lousy foreign policies it is necessary to correct the problems left behind. It's not that republicans care more about outside, it's just hard to focus on domestic affairs when the threat from the outside is so great. What's more important to you, no more 9/11s or if grandma has to pay more for her prescriptions? It is the Federal Governments job to protect from all threats, foreign and domestic, not to ensure medication to the elderly!

The U.S. relies upon imports of foreign oil. and also export & import trade with the rest of the World. The U.S. is affected by the actions of foreign countries. A good example is the aftermath of more than 20 years of isolation that ended with the attack on Pearl Harbor by the Japanese. Also 9/11 was the action of the hateful Muslim religion and its adherents. Those cockroaches mostly came from Saudi Arabia (the 9/11 people), but it planned in Afghanistan and Iran. America has no choice but to involve itself in foreign affairs, and, regretably, sometimes wars.

Uh, because your local and state governments are what matter inside the country. Example: Hurricane Katrina - all the screaming about how Bush (!) failed the poor people of New Orleans drove right around the fact that the local and state officials of Louisiana are the ones who failed them.

It's been said that the US is overseas to keep an eye on countries over there. We don't want another World War to errupt because then the US will suffer economically. If you think gas prices are already high....think about if oil becomes scarce from another war.
