Only certain stations have tickets. If the station doesn't sell tickets (there is no "ticket booth" inside the pavaolion, you buy them on the train from the conductor after you get on and chose your seat. If the station does sell tickets but you don't buy them on the train, you get charged a dollar or two more. Your ticket price is based on what fare zones you are traveling to/from. If you get on the train from downtown, you can buy your departing/return trip tickets and save time later.

There is a vending machiene where you put money and it'll(It's like magic!) give you a ticket.

Or you can ask the people who work there for instuctions.
