Yes, but not directly.....they swapped the paper clip for something bigger and ended up with a vehicle and a time share and eventually a home. It took him about a year and the town that eventually traded him the home, did so because they thought it would be a good publicity stunt that would bring tourism to the town!

Sort of, but some of the swaps were a bit iffy - he only got the house because the council had one to spare and wanted someone who was about to appear in a film (albeit a small part in the latest no doubt straight to cable epic) to live in their town....

No. it all started off by swapping a paper clip for somethig else.Then that item for something and so, on and so on.

It was a 3 bedroom house and yea - he started with a paperclip and kept trading up and ended up with the house.

no he started with a paperclip and swapped it for something better and so on and so on. I think it took 12 months altogether. he finally ended up with a house. American bloke. he was on gmtv the other week.
