If you have an oily skin, pimples are bound to come out. Use an astrigent after thoroughly washing your face with an antiseptic soap. Avoid fried and oily stuff which contributes greatly to making your face oily and thus pimples. Drink lots of water especially early in the morning before breakfast.
I just advised someone here, to take pumpkin, a proven pimples cure advised by some Taiwanese beauticians. First, skin andcut the pumpkin, remove the seeds only., next cut into small pieces and bring to boil in water (just enough to cover the pumpkin) until soft. Add honey or sugar or salt (taste to your liking). Take it everyday for a few days, you can stop when you see an improvement. I would advise you to take it often to prevent recurrence. Some people apply the leftovers on the face, leave it on for 10-15 minutes and wash off thoroughly, then apply astringent.
Happy trying, and hope your face will be pimples free in no time!

Did you know that a pimple takes 2 weeks to form? Keep that in mind when you wash your face with a new cleanser and don't see results right away.

I've tried so many products and they all aggrivated my skin or made my complection worse. It's awful wasting money and time and patience with stuff that doesn't work. I have combination skin and what works especially well for me is washing my face every single night with Dial Soap (Yep, I'm serious, it antibacterial which is exactly what acne is...bacteria).

I use a washcloth and slowly and gently scrub my face with Dial soap.

Then I use a moisturizer (Even if you have oily skin and you assume that you don't need a moisturizer...STILL USE ONE!) I personally use Vasaline lotion. You only need a squirt a size of a dime, then rub it in.

If you need spot treatment go ahead and use one. Any of them will do really. All a spot treatment does is dry out the pimple. But be carefull and only put it where you need it, otherwise you'll just aggravate your skin more and provoke more blemishes.

There you have it!

well, what I do is that I wash it three times a day. Once when you wake up, get home from school, and before you sleep. Try to put up your hair as often as possible to reduce the amount of oil your hair gets to your face. Also, you can buy Burt's Bees Blemish Stick. It's liquid, smells minty, and it stings sometimes when you apply it to your pimples, but it really works!! The stingy-ness is what reduce the size of pimples because there's acid or something. I've heard that lemon juice works good too. The blemish stick comes in a glass tube about the size of lipgloss and it has a mini roller on top so it's very easy to use. You can use make-up concealer to hide redness. Good luck, and it it all doesn't work then you can try going to the dermatologist.

First things first never use any harsh chemicals, it is best to wash your face for a week with just water and keep your hair and hands off your face. Never ever use alcohol, when something burns when you put it on it does not mean that it is working. It means it is aggravating your skin. I put calamine lotion on after I wash with Cetaphil. It works like nothing else I have ever used. Do not wash more than twice a day. The oil on your skin is good, I know it looks bad, but it is just your bodies way of telling you something you are doing to your face is not right. Whether it be washing too much or drying it out.

Try using a gel containing benzoyl peroxide like Pernox or Persol 2.5% every night. Cleanse your face with an astringent. Wash you face with a soap free face wash meant for oily skin like Himalya's. Apply Himalya mud pack for oily and pimple prone skin (made of fuller's earth and walnut), leave on for atleast 20 minutes before washing.

Take a blood purifier like Safi every morning on an empty stomach. Drink 12 glasses of water a day.

everyone will say to wash your face or gets some expensive pimple cream which is definatly work, no doubt about it, Washing your face 4-5times a day is also a good way. But what i do to make sure my shoulders and face to stay breakout free is before i go to bed i wash my face with dish washing soap, no friggin joke it dries out your skin real hardcore and works great, ive had great results with it. I know it sounds silly but give it a shot!

The best thing I found was a dab on rubbing alcohol. And in the long run to prevent them, drink lots of water. That's about all that worked for me. And I had a really bad pimple problem.

If you don't know a lot about skincare buy a "set" that matches your skin type (normally it says what skin type its for right on the label). As long as you have a good cleanser, astringent (if you are oily), moisturizer, and once a week mask you should clear up quickly. Good brands to try are Aveeno, Nuetragena, and Stridex. Don't get one that's too harsh for your skin, or you will just end up all dry and flaky

Hey, people have loads of methods to getting rid of them and there are loads of products in the shops that might help, really all you have gotta do is keep your face clean, they will go away one day anyway you might just have to wait, you will not have them for the rest of your life so don't worry so much everyone gets them at one point :D

PROACTIV. You have no idea how bad my acne was and how annoying it was wearing coverup all the time. Proactiv really works. Get the refining mask as well and use it on some nights and sleep with it on. It really clears your face up in a week. You will love it, try it!
