I like Fords (First On Race Day) better, but have owned both & both have been good, reliable cars. Chryslers, on the other hand...never again! And to all those "Japanese cars are better" pushers (my awful Chrysler has a Mitsubishi engine, by the way)... check out Strategic Vision' s 2006 report. Plus, I believe if you take care of a car's basic maintenance properly, most cars -no matter what make - will serve you well. Just so many people go out and buy a new Japanese car & then take excellent care of it, after years of buying used American cars & not doing the proper maintenance (I have so many friends & family that fit this profile), then of course they have this perception. I get tired of hearing it when they are comparing apples & oranges, obviously!
