Restore it to the day it was built...White !! dont turn a classic into a ghetto cruiser, and have the original wheels restored as well, dont look like a drug dealer and spend 15,000.00 on rims that say HI I am very ignorant. Keep it classic, you will get out of it what you put into it and maybe more when you decide to sell it !

Staying with the original color is best, unless you really want a different color. To get it right when changing colors, you need to have all the little places painted. Inside the door posts, inside the trunk and hood, etc. It adds a lot of expense.

Consider all the trim inside the doors and in the engine space are most likely still white... it would be cheaper to keep it white as these places wouldn't need to be repainted.

Keep in mind that lighter colors last longer and the vehicel stays cooler in the summer. I do like white vehicles but if i had to chose somethng other than white... I'd go with a pearlized or metal flake maroon with gold trim.

pink sounds good , also try considering the hot pink ( kinda purplish ) version , it works good for girls
