After swimming at the swimming pool is it okay to shower naked or do you keep your bathing suit on?

I just wondered what others thought because we are all the same sex in the changing room and no one showers at home in their underwear. Is it as simple as some people being comfortable with their bodies and others not so? Just thought I'd ask.

It is perfectly acceptable to shower naked in the changing room. regardless if it mixed or single sex. Since the the vast majority of changing rooms in the UK are single sex then that should not be an issue for anyone who has an issue with that. It is better to shower naked to get the chlorine of, it is also good hygiene to shower before you swim. Of course if you want to keep your bathing suite on then thats up to you. I shower naked, like most people.

Notice how all the guys say "Naked" and most of the girls say "keep the suit on" ? But I bet none of the guys actually shower naked in a mixed shower room, so I say keep the suit on and shower the chlorine off of yourself and the suit.

Agreeing with the other 2 girls. Think of the children. If there are any kids at this place it's just a bad idea. To go naked is a choice when you're an adult, but for kids this is pretty embarassing to walk in and see a bunch of scattered a** everywhere. Yes, the pervs in here are rooting you on; but what if it was their kid having to see the chicken fat lady showering? Think about it. Then make your decision.

That is really up to you. I leave my bathing suit on because I wash it out after swimming and then when I get home I take a real shower.

Don't forget how many people are gay. If it is an open shower in front of everyone , leave something on. If it's closed , just wrap a towel around u till u get there, then take it off and shower naked.

Its OK if you're OK with it. Although I do remember being shocked seeing a naked lady in the showers as a child, so maybe its right to be sensitive around kids!

You are correct about people being comfortable with their bodies, BUT because of social mores, it is usually done with one's bathing suit ON. BTW, it is good for the suit, too, as it rinses off the chlorine, which bleaches and weakens the fabric.

I dont think its a case of others being uncomfortable with their bodies, more that they are unconfortable having naked people showering next to them!
