WOW! Good question! He is still alive & kicking. His website was updated this month & here is what he wrote...
JULY 2006

Dear Fans & Friends,

Some of you may have heard or possibly seen the article in the “Enquirer” about me being in the hospital. First I want to assure you that I did not have surgery as is stated in their article. I did go into the hospital for some tests and everything is fine. Some people have e-mailed and asked if I am still alive. Believe me I am alive and kicking (maybe not as high as when I was Marshal Dillon).

In my last letter I mentioned that I would have an announcement to make. I want my fans to know that I care about them and have read all your suggestions and comments about the website. We are in the process of re-designing the site and will be adding some new and exciting things. I have to say is that I love the look of our new home page (thank you Steve). I am replacing our number one selling color photo of the stagecoach picture with a one that I think you will enjoy. In fact I have decided to place all new photos on the site. Please check out the autograph section soon. We have also talked about all the e-mails and that I just am unable to answer all of them personally, however I do read all of them. Look for a new page within the next month or so that will answer lots of the questions that we receive. If you have a question that you would like to ask me please send it to marshaldillon@prodigy.net.

You can check out more greetings from Jim at...
