You hear someone say "Look!" - do you?

When in a public place if someone says loud enough "Look - there's blah, blah..." Do people instinctively look to see the person, object, situation, etc. or just turn their heads because they heard the word (or command) look?

Yes - I think that this is a learned behavior that has become somewhat of a compulsion to most people in a group.

Try this: the next time you are at the mall with a friend, the two of you stand in one spot and start looking up, staring, and pointing at something overhead. Watch how many people will start looking there also.
Don't do this by yourself because the nice young men in the clean white coats might come take you away...

If someone says look! I automatically look.. It could be a semi coming toward me and i might want to move.. Or it could be something totally awesome, I dont want to miss. But if it is something stupid, i just turn my head back. like nothing happened.

Yep, I probably would look... I am curious and always open to learning, experiencing, finding things out! It's also pretty natural response.

i'm Deaf and that i born that way. additionally, I definitely have my little sis who's deaf too , yet relax my family and regulation family is listening to. i understand to sign language than speaking, yet my lil sis talk extra useful than sign language do. we are completely opposite lol!
