i gave one to my newphew that i got from a friend and its not working it isn't reading the disk and i blow inside but that isn't doing anything.

You need to do more than just blowing into it. Get some canned air and really spray out the tray and inside, also spray off the fan. My PS2 had the same problem and that did the trick.

Mine is starting to do the same thing. It doesnt read the disk..wait did you say blow on the disk. You dont blow on the disk you have to breath on it and fog it up. Seems like the last time you played video games was the time of the NES.Oh your probably going yo have to replace it

theres this thing called a cd lens cleaner u get at like best buy for 5 bucks its a cd with a cleaning pad that cleans the inside of ur ps2 belev me i have one it also works on dvd players and cd players
