I don't think it is a waste of time, I have tried to give some good advice and have some fun here. I like it, maybe if you don't you should try a chat room or doing a blog or some of the many other things you can do on the Internet...Does anyone have you chained to Yahoo answers? If they do...then I would say that you should reason with the people who are holding you hostage here, and tell them how you feel!
Good luck, if you really think it's a waste of your time, then go find something that is fun for you! Have some fun!

There is certainly a waste of time element to it but you can pick and choose what you like to read or comment on and I find some of the replys humerous, interesting and disturbing at different times.

As I learned playing way too much EverQuest once upon a time, yes Yahoo Answers is mostly WOOT, Waste Of Online Time. WOOT is a more fun way to put it, don'tcha think? :)

depends on how you look at it; yeah, it can be a waste of time but that can be a good thing sometimes, like when there's nothing else to do you can come on here and either ask or answer random questions.

Yes it is. Acquiring points is like leveling in EverQuest--tedious. But this is worse because who wants to brag about reaching level 7? It's a nowhere thing.
But, for me it's mindless entertainment.

I find it is a good way to find out what other people are thinking....and its a good way to relieve frustrations about certain things such as the leadership of this country.
