we went to court before he started this and they doubled his child support , he has always had a problem with paying it and i give most of the money to my daughter when i do receive one but he goes as far as quitting a job to keep from paying. i think that he isn't working now cause i haven't received one since court and the weekend he got her after court is when this started

I have not received child support from him he has been thousands of dollars behind and i do not base my standard of living on child support. i work really hard and have always been the sole provider of my daughter ( insurance ,food,clothing ,etc.)
I have dealt with him popping in and out of her life every few years or so and always when child support enforcement has taken his license or something and then he calls her and tells her about it and that it is my fault that they did that. I love my daughter more than life itself and am not giving up without a fight. I think that promising the moon is not right when you have never been there except to cause trouble. she is 15 and i have been mother and father to her since she was 4 years old. I LOVE HER SHE IS MY LIFE

Your daughter is 15. Unfortunately there isn't anything you can do about that. Just pray that your daughter is wise enough to see past it. To protect yourself and the investment you've made into this child, install a device that records conversations between the dad and her and use it in court to show his motives. Good luck.

ok i no all about this question i have been there done thatmy ex was doing the same thing to my son he would call my house wanting my son when usually he didnt have any contact with him at all would nt even see him for months he woulnt pay child support nothing been t court hundreds of times still notyhing but then all of a suddeen he want our son he promised our son all kinds of stuf if he would come live with him and went as far as to call socail services on me which turned out to be a joke but anyway one nite he called and i answerd the phone and i had a nice talk with him i told him his paln didnt work and why he wanted our son to live with him when he couldnt be man enough to pay his childsupport any way he denied every thing said he didnt want our son to live him and i told him to tell our child this any way when our son got on the phone the low life told our son not to rock the boat with me and that he needed to quit tellin me everything then he told him that he didnt want him to live with him and he quit callin here so i was left to clean that mess up with my son but now he is better and i hope this helps you

He has to take you back to court to get the rights for her.You should have good communication with your daughter to know what she really wants to do.Honestly the right place for a daughter to be is with the mother.Let him know that you are not letting her go and let him take you to court, there has to be enough info for the judge to decide that it would be ok for your daughter to stay with him.Its actually not just up to him and your daughter,its really what the judge decides,but you have to do it the legal way.Don't let her go.

well, it depends on how old your daughter is
i'd say if she was above 10, allow her to live with whatever parent she wants to live with
i assume, like most women, you've fashioned your life based on this child support issue and live well beyond your means, this is probably the root of why you want the daughter to stay with you
