That is called ignorance. i am a white woman who has several wonderful black friends. One of them is my best and dearest friend. Those people who fear black people have never sat with them at the dinner table, I have. They have never let their kids play together, I have. They have not attended Church with them. i have. They are wonderful God loving people. And I praise God for blessing me with such friends.

Sometimes the white folks move, and sometimes the white folks stay. It depends on the wealth, education and culture of the blacks moving in. If a black athlete or black celebrity moves in, then nobody's upset. But when the black bro's with they hoe's comes a rolling in wit the pimpmobiles, then the whites run.

Ummmm . . .we have lived in my neighborhood for almost 30 years. A few years ago a black family moved in. NO one that i know of moved out, or got mad. All the kids pay with their kids. We also have a Mexican family right next door and one down the street. No one really cares.

Lets keep it real though. Most if not all communities where there are majority of people who are people of "color", Aren't they usually either run down or violent!? Lets be real!
I'm not saying predominantly white neighborhoods are the greatest, I'm just saying the "whiter" neighborhoods usually look nice and have low crime. But We, "we" cant get it together!

You are generalizing base on an experience or knowing about an experience. Nothing can be related to that way without creating a mindset that may or may not exist. I think that there will be idiots in all societys, but that does not dictate to the reality. Reality is that there are also people in all societys that are color blind and do not even consider the color of a persons skin. those that are still concerned, obviously have not attained reality.

here we look to the bible
At that time, when there was reading from the book of Moses in the hearing of the people, it was found written there that "no Ammonite or Moabite may ever be admitted into the assembly of God; for they would not succor the Israelites with food and water, but they hired Balaam to curse them, though our God turned the curse into a blessing." When they had heard the law, they separated from Israel every foreign element. (Nehemiah 13:1-3 NAB)

Pure ingnorance. People are quicker to judge than to bake a cake and welcome their new neighbors. Things are so different than they used to be. The vast majority of the world will encounter new things in life, but rather than getting educated about it, they'd rather shun it, not accept it, and riducule/talk about it.....uneducated about the whole race of people they're just too scared to get to know. This world would be a much better place if we could learn to accept each other for the way we are...the way God created us - as EQUALS.

Apparently you have a very specific situation. My neighbor hood is diverse as all heck. Maybe you're scary looking. The only way I'm moving is if a sex predator moves in. Wait no, I'd probably run him off.....your neighbor hood must suck. Sorry to hear it.
