Hi, I was raised on the Bible and in a Christian Church, so yes I believe that Eve was created from a rib from Adam.
To answer your second question, I think that Adam might have been speechless, remember this was before they ate from the forbidden tree so they were without sin and Adam would not have said or done anything wrong, in other words he was the perfect gentleman, a knight in shining armor, probably the only one ever created, lucky Eve.

No. The Bible was written in a time when this kind of idea sounded good and was accepted.

Eve (if there was an Eve) was more complex a creature than Adam was. If anyone was created from anyone else its more likely the simpler Adam was created from Eve!

In all seriousness, anyone who can see that life is made up of both feminine forces and masculine forces (feminine/space; maculine/time) would find it impossible to believe that either gender came from the other's "rib". Whoever wrote that in the bible couldn't come up with explanation for where Eve came from, so they dreamed that one up.

how did Adam originate (man ) if there was no eve ? (woman ) if eve was created from Adam then eve is his daughter. how did Adam & eve paired themselves ? may be thet is the sin they did ? who is the mother of adam ? because eve came only after adam.adam's rib was not useful for him or god removed the unused rib ?sorry, i am not making fun of any religion or belief. i am not a christian. i have not read bible. i would like to know more about that religion. so, can somebody tell me which book to read about christianity in a nutshell.

Yes, according to the Bible. And science combined with religion this is why men have fewer ribs than women. Eve was Gods second woman and she was created from Adam's side that they may stand as equals. Gods' first woman was Lilith and she was created from the Earth as Adam was, however, she tried to exalt herself over him and God banished her from Eden. Then God created Eve to give Adam companionship. Lilith is said by the bible (Hebrew) to have lain with an Angel and became the mother of all demons. You see according to the Torah,God did not create the demons, Lilith and an Angel did. For they were born of of a forbidden union. And demon, well, that would yet be open to interpretation. But some say it was an appearance as punishment by God and others say it was because they were of a union between a creature with a soul (Lilith) and one without (the Angel).

Read the Bible. In Genesis, it says she was created from Adam's rib by God. It also say that when Adam saw her he names her woman. He called her Eve when their first child was born.

Well that is how Moses recorded it for us in the book of Genesis. As for Adam's response our English translations make it sound a little hohum. In the original Hebrew Adam was one healthy male who had just watched a parade of animals walk past in pairs and had begun to wonder what God had in store for him. When he saw Eve - and remember, she was nude (blush) - it was more like:
Woaaaaaahhhhhh!
I have no idea what Eve was thinking.

Assuming the introduction of Eve in the scriptures is genuine, then her DNA could be 0.5 Adam's. she will't be an entire clone for the reason that she is XX and he's XY. although, she could be as on the threshold of Adam genetically as accessible, maybe like a fraternal twin. in actuality, we don't understand the place the mom and dad, genetic makeup, of Adam or Eve got here from. have been they actually son and daughter of God, like Christ. No, that cannot be astounding because of fact Christ grew to become into the "in basic terms begotten" of the father. How have been they made out of the dirt of the floor? we don't understand that. How grew to become into Eve made out of a rib of Adam? we don't understand that the two. Brigham youthful taught that Adam and Eve have been born of woman in basic terms like something human beings. They have been delivered here from certainly one of God's different worlds with a view to start God's family here in this earth. if this is so, then Adam and Eve could qualify as extraterrestrials delivered here by ability of God. Their mom and dad have been little ones of God comparable to us yet on certainly one of His different worlds. At some suitable time, they have been chosen for this considered necessary challenge, to start the human family in this earth. Can God try this? specific He can. If He lives in the heavens and created all that we can see and then some, He additionally has the potential to bypass to and from those worlds and positioned across His creations the place he will, at His will.

Oh, for goodness sake, no. Most of the early bits of Genesis were stories, myths invented to explain or understand or illustrate reality. They were very likely not taken literally by those who wrote them, and there's no reason to take them literally today. Anyone who reads Hebrew (or Greek in the case of the New Testament) and has studied Biblical theology for ten minutes realizes that it's absurd to think that God had to perform surgery on Adam in order to get Eve. It's a story--it still has power to move us and teach us and inspire us--but it ought not be taken at its word.

If one has read the Bible and believes what they read then Genesis describes exactly how woman was created.
I do not find issue with the idea of Adams DNA being taken and a woman being created from it.

There is nothing on earth being discovered that has not always been here waiting to be discovered or understood.
The Creator gave DNA to all of us. Now in our time we understand it.
