I just found out I am pregnant with a grl..my boyfriend really wanted a boy...how can I get him excited about my baby grl, I know he will love her thats not the problem he just had his heart set on the boy
advice?

Don't Worry! As you get further along in your pregnancy he'll get more and more excited. And once he holds her in his arms he won't even remember wanting anything else. Try to be understanding and sympathetic about his dreams of a baby boy. Everything will work out just fine don' t worry!
PS depending on the skill of the sonographer and whether you got a good look at her genitals your Girl could still be a Boy! Mistakes do still happen... Best of luck to you! Hope your baby is strong and healthy!

Let me tell you something, it is not what you want, Its what you get. Its that simple. Firstable that was my exact case. My boyfriend have a 19 y daughter and he wanted a boy from me. He was a little sad when the nurse told him it was a girl. But ever since the baby dont leave him alone is constantly calling him daddy and "talking" in the baby anguage he dont even want a boy no more. He defends his girl more than anything in the world. A nice trick is when you name her after him.

Every man wants to have a son, you should know that! Im having a little girl too by the way. Show your boyfriend baby clothes & all the cute little girl things. Like the little dresses with ruffles... spoil him with all the adorable little girl things. My husband wanted a boy too. But now he's buying little football clothes for girls. he bought her a pink Jaguars outfit with matching shoes and a hat! Do things like this!! he'll come around!

Tell him like it is, it is the male that determines the sex of a child. Women carry the egg and the males fertilize it and they carry the xy chromosomes that determine sex. He will love any child that he fathers. Good luck and Happy Motherhood!

Don't worry...he'll come around. My husband was the same way, now, she's his little princess!
You just be excited as you want to about it being a girl and he'll follow suit. You just wait and see!

MY MAN HAS 2 BOYS & HAD HIS HEART ON A GIRL.IT WAS A FIGHT AT FIRST...HE DIDNT DO ALL THE NORMAL DADDY DUTIES.BUT NOW HE LOVES UM & TREATS UM RIGHT.ALL YOU CAN DO IS TALK IT OUT WITH HIM & SHELL BE DADDY'S LITTLE GIRL.HE'LL FEEL SPECIAL ONCE SHES BORN...SO DONT WORRY.YOU CAN TRY FOR THE BOY LATER.

if he doesnt love your baby depending on the sex he has issues. but try to get him pumped up by telling him all the things they can do and keeping him involved while you are pregnant. i.e. taking him to your o.b. visits etc.
