Don't listen to the first guy on here. Go to the doctor, maybe they can give you some medicine for it. Depression isn't something people choose to have, it's just something that happens sometimes. Your brain just gets low on "happy juice" sometimes and you feel sad and there are medications that can boost the happy stuff and help you feel better. Hope I helped. God bless. :)

It depends on what type of depression. If you suffer from psychological depression, such as a parent just died, or you lost your job, or you're a teen-ager,you know, something incidental in your life which caused you to be this way, certain drugs and therapy can help.
If you have biological depression, as I have, then drugs may be your ony course of action. Therapy can help you to recognize your thought processes, but otherwise there is not much you can do but take your meds and be good.

Snap out of it. Stop focusing on negative stuff. Life is a *****. Deal with it the best you can. Don't take drugs!
