Formerly known as Emode.com, Tickle was founded on the belief that personal insight and connections to others could be both scientific and fun.
Tickle was founded in 1999 as Emode.com by James Currier, who developed an early passion for Internet technology, new media and social sciences. Currier envisioned how the Internet could be used to help people learn more about themselves and better connect with others in a mutually beneficial environment based on trust and respect. Today, the company employs more than 50 people and is headquartered in San Francisco, CA.
In collaboration with leading psychology and marketing experts from Harvard, Yale, Duke, Northeastern, Washington University in St. Louis, SUNY at Albany, and The University of Kansas, Tickle was the first company to combine consumer insight with state-of-the-art digital technology to generate personality reports uniquely positioned to offer outstanding results. The company offers more than 200 tests (more than 60 of which are PhD-certified) and is the leading provider of online testing services.
Tickle launched the Tickle Social Network in October 2003. Tickle Social Network is the first social networking product to deliver deep user profiles that go beyond basic demographic data to include group affiliations, career history, and personality traits.
By staying true to the vision of delivering a deep, rich, and meaningful way for people to connect with one another, the Tickle team has brought the company to the forefront of the market. Operating as a profitable company for seven consecutive quarters, Tickle was acquired by Monster Worldwide in May 2004 and is now part of the overall Monster network.

http://web.tickle.com is a fun website with really neat tests and a social network for either dating or meeting new people and provides articles which may be informative but fun at the same time. I am a member of Tickle, and have been for well over a year. I really enjoy this site. I basically for entertainment. I have found the tests really accurate. I have taken around 30 tests. There are tests with really long reports on how you scored, and there are simpler tests with short answers on how you scored.
There is the Classic IQ test which is right on target, a Classic Emotional IQ test which is also right on target, there is a few personality tests which also have been pretty much on target too. I have a good understanding of who I am, so the tests reflected what I pretty much knew was true about me. It also showed me areas where I was not so sure of how I would score. Regardless they all are balanced with positives and negitives about a person. They are fun and informative. You can also "share" test results with friends and compare each others test results. A really cool feature.
There IS a serious side to all this fun though. If a person realizes the potential of these tests he/she can utilize them for a benifit. For example, a test shows your personality type. You can use this as a guide line on what type of men would best suite your personality. It also allows a person areas they can work on to improve many areas in their lives. It just takes looking at the results as a tool to improving ones self. A person has to be honest while taking the tests to have this benifit though.
Now, each and every single test result can be obtained free of charge. You just have to click on the link which allows you to get the free results, which is exactly the same as the paid version. In order to get the free versions you are required to click on through several pages of ads. How many pages of ads depends on how big the results are. At the bottom of each page is a big blue "Skip" buttom you click on. Now, there is also a few instances where the blue button is not there, and it looks like you have to sign up for one of the free offers. This is not true, it is just a small trick easy to bypass if you know how. All you need do is look for the small "no thank you please take me to my results" either at the top right or bottom right of the page without the blue button. Then you are either taken to one more deceptive ad page to look for the small print again, or taken to your test result.
To save your test results all you have to do is select all the test for copy. Then open up your Word program and paste into that. Give it a name if you don't like the one provided and click save. It is saved into your "My Documents" folder for easy printing or access through Word. I have all of the major tests on my computer.
I reccommend this site to any who wishes to just have some fun and find tools which will help in many aspects of life. Have fun and have a great day too!!

Tickle.com is a site for taking little and amusing surveys and tests. You can take personality quizes, relationship test, and even find out your IQ there. Then, if I'm not mistaken, you can view a simplified version of the results, purchase a detailed version, and get friends to take similar tests and compare your results with them.

I recieve their questions every once in awhile. You can take quizes to find out things about yourself. You have to be careful though, sometimes they will try to convince you to pay when it is actually free. Also after you get the results you wanted you want to get off the sight A.S.A.P. or you will be answering questions that will send you email you don't want to get.

It's bad. Get rid of it if it's on your computer anywhere. Google it as well to learn more.
