If you don't have any kids, you can do a do-it-yourself and it will be final within 60 days depending on what state you live in. I believe www.divorcenet.com has all the forms you need. Good luck. By the way, you can still do it if you have kids, but it won't be final as quickly. I don't know if annulments are any quicker.

In most States, you cannot get an immediate divorce. Once you have filed and set a date of separation, you can basically live life as you please. In CA it takes a minimum of 6 months. You need to file and get the clock started. If you are planning on remarrying, don't do it until your divorce is legal or your new marriage will not be valid.
Once the date of separation is in place, any income and assets gained are your sole and separate property. So get that date established.
Good luck.

there is no such thing as an "immediate divorce" . . in most states, an uncontested divorce takes a minimum of 90 days to run the process . . . if you are talking about an annullment, you have to have super cause as to why an annullment should be granted . . speak to an attorney for which is right for your case

They will not allow an offshore divorce, they are illegal in UK, you really need to send off your decree absolute, when you do send it off it will take around 6 weeks to be final. The registry office will check that you have it before allowing you to marry in UK.

I don't think you can get an "immediate" one, you have to fill a lot of paperwork, try a lawyer and see what he/she says.

There is no such thing. There is lots of paperwork and waiting involved. It isn't supposed to be an easy thing to get.
