ok try this get down to the sailing club , ask to meet patric, tell him to "hook" you up. find out when they're haveing a beach party. go to guava bar ask for "quin" he'll show you a good time. get yourself a motor bike driver to take you on the "city tour" or the "thousand step temple" by dien khanh. go over to "ngia bia hoi " on hung vuong street across from bella napoli have a few beers with the austrailian drivers there. go meet marianella [ at bella napoli... she's wild! get out and meet people, have a coffee at a side walk stand, across from the dong phong hotel [ where you should be staying if you took my advice] is a good place... meet people. if all else fails go on a company tour... but first get together with a few people and get bikers to take you to "ba ho".. be prepered to hike and swim there. or you can just waite for me .. i'll be there in a few months.. i'll be "tearing up" the place! get yourself on a "snokleing cruise" they are cheap and fun , you can meet people there. check out the vien dong/ hai yen hotel.. they have a traditional music show a cpl times a week.. now thats boring !lol PS.IF NONE OF THIS HELPS CONTACT ME I"LL SEND YOU ON A MISSION... oh yeah, get up one morning a be at the beach at 5 am.. bring your camera[ 5..not 5:30!!!]

maybe you went to a wrong place. cuz Nha Trang is among the best places in Vietnam I've ever been. The weather is very mild and u can have lots of fun there... go out for parachut on the beach, it is really awsome. Yeah, like OngJon said, u can stay in Hai Yen hotel too, cuz it is opposite the beautiful sandy beach, and the price is also very reasonable. If u have a lot more money, u can stay at Ana Mandara (I heard it is awesome)... check some "island tour" cuz it is very interesting too. It's weird that u said Nha Trang was boring

PS: I think Ha Noi is more boring than it. lol

I have to agree with Ong John. Nha Trang is one of my favorite places in the world. If Ong John's suggestions don't work for you maybe you should just relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the South China Sea and the Mountains. Nha Trang is an easy place for westerners to get around in and has so many things to do. Maybe you are expecting the wrong kind of experience. Look around you... culture is everywhere.
