I tried to catch it so it wouldnt hurt anyone else but i couldnt come near it without it slivering away. Does anyone know what this means? Or what these snakes that keep re-occuring might mean?... [ive checkd out a few dream dictionary but each of them say something different]

It depends on your childhood.

Basically it could mean lots of things, sex, troubles and so on.
However, I do think it is a fear of some sort. It could be fear of snake, fear of troubles, fear of responsibilities. You have to examine yourself and each dream and your background, then you should know what it means.

p.s. it has nothing to do with zodiac sign or Chinese zodiac. So you were born in year of snake has nothing to do with your dream!

There's somethig interesting to be said about dreams regarding snakes.

A snake, due to its sneaky and elusive nature, is generally hidden. That's why when there's a secret enemy you say that there's a snake in the grass.

So, if you're dreaming of snakes it means that you have an enemy, or someone who really doesn't like you. Chances are it's the last person you can imagine. My guess is that that's it.

Now, if you've dreamt being bitten by it and not being hurt, it means that you'll be attacked by this person but not hurt. If you defeat it, than you'll overcome this attack. However, if you are seriously hurt, poisoned or even killed, I would suggest that you think very closely about all the misfortunes that you;ve had in the past and see how they are all linked. I'm sure that there will be some clue as to who is responsible for these things.

By the way, the chinese had a different perception of animals, and their characteristics are used to represent people's attributes. Since you're a snake, than I'm sure you must be a very meticulous, careful and prudent person.

I'm a rooster, so I guess you can imagine how I am. Hope this helps.

The fact that the snake bite did not phase you and that you kept trying to capture the snake to prevent anyone else from experiencing the pleasant snake bite from the cobra with the pleasure head is quite revealing. You are very possessive of your boyfriends or future boyfriends. You want them all to yourself. Snakes slither away they do not sliver away. A sliver is a very small and unsatisfying phallic representation (the limp dick so to speak) while the snake is righteously large (A satisfying big black cobra with the expanding stiffened hood of course is the throbbing symbol of masculinity at its best.). You are obviously naturally heterosexual and as such a prime target for lesbian conversion. Don't let your big black cobra "sliver" away again. Take it into you and nurture it. Only then can you know the full joy of women hood.
Keep going girl.

As women our natural enemy is a snake. So the snake represents someone who is working against you. The reason this same snake keeps coming up is because that person is still in your mist and is actively working against you. The good news is their attacks are fleeting they don't effect you. Once you stop worrying about what or who ever is making you feel insecure your dreams will stop.

I have heard that dreaming of snakes is not a good thing. But I think that dreams are a part of the brain that just holds memories and then we happen to dream about it. No need to worry. Then sometimes I have had dreams that have come true, so I got to say that I think that some dreams are real, while others are just the mind playing back things.

All I can tell you is that the snakes represent something that you feel is a threat or a danger.Sometimes it's not the actions that are significant but the things or people in the back ground,so the next time try to notice what is going on around you instead of focusing on the snakes.

The snake in Genesis had NOTHING to do with a goddess. The snake was used by, (and thus became a symbol for) Satan. Therefore, snakes have often been a symbol for deceit, evil, betrayal, etc...

You have a ministry in Christ that you have been neglecting. The snake is an evil, (false teaching, spiritual attack) of Satan that your ministry would prevent, but you are not listening to Christ. Thus, the snake keeps escaping you. You cannot fight Satan with the flesh. You need to reconcile yourself with Christ, so HE can cleanse you with HIS blood, and baptize you in HIS Spirit. Then, you will be empowered to stop this "snake".

If you keep playing games, this "snake" will destroy, not only you, but those around you and before your own eyes. You will then wish you listened to Christ, but be powerless to undo the evils you have permitted.

There is something that is not quite in your grasp that you so desparately want. You are also meant to nurture and heal people. You know the term snake oil salesmen. Some snakes have venom that heals people and you are of college age your dream may be telling you to go to college to study some type of medical field. Think about it.

I despise snakes with a passion. I never have dreams about them. I don't think this means anything. All those theories and no real answers. Just be thankful it doesn't come true after all these years.

There are many interpretation about snake from vary degree of religions and science:
firstly focus on it colour, species, and most of all its action,
hold firm to the religion that you bare in you heart not the religion of your birth,
for it may be your spiritual guardian, a manipulation being, or even a sign of action, but in any case all may be connection which it really depend on our very own confidence to make a choice over it.
