I keep having this dream where people are getting shot. Two times it was me, and then the 3rd time it was my family member, and last night it was my boyfriend. Does anyone know what this dream might mean?

IT's a life lesson. First thing first.. the reason you're being shot should tell you that there is something you need to get out of. You're feeling guilt. No one ever dies in a dream..a nd if you died.. then that's strange.. i have no idea what to tell you.
when a family member, bf dies.. it's telling you that you're missing some quality that that family member or bf has. See what you lack in your personality that these ppl have. ..

Aren't you getting some crazy good or bad news lately?Or your family members?That could be an explanation.Shot in a dream is supposed to mean something shocking or new in your real life.

First you need to understand what we mean by 'dream'.
Basically, a dream is a series of events that one experiences in one's mind while one is asleep. If you are deeply exposed to a given event, then there is every possibility for that event to crop up in your mind while you are asleep. And, that event may be linked with the activities you were engaged in prior to your bed time, as for example watching horror movies full of violence promoting 'gun culture'! In your case, it is apparent that you were in somewhat in that state successively and those thoughts which got deeply ingrained in you may have reflected in your dreams! You shouldn't take those events in your dreams seriously and indeed shouldn't attempt to decipher and come to hypothetical conclusions!
So, Kasha, engage in some relaxing activities before going to bed and you may see the difference.

being killed, shot = insecurity.
You are very insecure about yourself and your family. This is coming out from your subconscious mind. In other words, you may be paranoid subconsciously. You are willing to accept any bad things happen to your family, your loves and even yourself. And you projected your unease feeling, fear and sense of insecurity in the dream
