Why aren't there more public demonstartions, why are Representatives not complaining more vociferously, when is the House of Senators going to actually represent the people of America?

There have been sporadic demonstrations but the are FEW and FAR between. Unfortunately, and I really hate to say this, but our country is more concerned with American Idol and Desperate Housewives. These politicians need to be held accountable and I think you will see big changes after the midterm elections, at least we can only hope.

Well it is NOT an "administration", which connotes legality, but rather a COUP that was installed and reinstalled in two crooked "elections". The latest theft was documented in a scholarly article by RFK Jr. and a full length book by Mark Crispin Miller. Then we have the matter of Dictator Dumbya calling himself a "unitary executive" which means dictator and expressly and publically wishing to be a dictator, one who thinks that he can ignore ANY law with a "signing statement". Then there is the illegal Dumbya Big Lie Iraqi Crusade and the virtual theft of the American treasury taking the former USA from surplus to untold trillions of debt. Then for most if not all of us there is the blatant invasion of all private records and for some of us detention without due process and without any known end and torture. YES that which we criticized in the past about "dictatorships" that we wished were better run, is something of which the new country of Dumbyaland, the former USA, is now itself guilty. ANY ONE of the above is justly a cause for impeachment, removal and imprisonment of the ENTIRE Dumbya Coup, every one of them!! One could go on, but then it would be a book.

Your question is ambiguous at best. Do you really want "Americans" to demonstrate that "they are the WORST ever experienced?" Which "Americans" do you want demonstrating against themselves, declaring themselves "the WORST ever experienced?" Are you talking about Canadians who also inhabit America? Are you talking about Mexicans who live in America, just a little farther south on the continent of North America? Are you talking about the peoples of Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Belize, or Panama in Central America? Or are you talking about the peoples of Uruguay, Paraguay, Guyana, French Guiana, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Suriname, Chile, Peru, Argentina, Venezuela, or Brazil? Are any of these the "Americans" you want to demonstrating "they are the worst WORST ever experienced? And by "experienced", are you applying that to all peoples of the world? Or any given country? A given group of people? Your family? Or just you yourself? Or are you insulting the citizens of your own country with the question?

I think maybe none of the above observations about your possible group definition is accurate, but I ask so that you may clarify. I'm also pointing out that accurate writing is reflective of accurate thought, and your question is not accurately written.

By the way, there is no House of Senate. There is, however, a House of Representatives. And there is a Senate. Also, I think you meant representatives instead of Representatives. The capital makes the group part of the House of Representatives, whereas not using the capital letter, ex.: representatives, indicates that you are talking about any elected representatives, whether they are of the House of Representatives or of the Senate.

I agree with you that more public demonstrations are needed. More resistance to government in all of its forms and exercising of power should be challeged openly by all of the citizens whenever we are not in agreement with those policies or uses of power. By not demonstrating and peacefully resisting, we are allowing, inviting, the very rapid erosion of our rights and our few remaining freedoms.

The question had potential. Too bad you didn't think it through and write it more clearly. Also, you should know something about the topic you wish to discuss and you didn't taken the time to inform yourself on this one. Maybe you'll do better next time. I hope you do.

Good luck.

Here's the deal: You unhappy people all get together and you ********* and complain about Bush and your constitutional rights being violated, blah, blah, blah, everything about this administration sucks, blah, blah, blah....And after a while, you get so riled up that you convince yourselves that most Americans feel exactly the same way you do. Hey, I've got news for you....we don't!

Get a life, stop complaining....or better yet: MOVE!!!! Go live somewhere else and then maybe you'll appreciate this country a bit more than you do now.

Excellent question, I have been asking the samething. This adminstration has made the gap between the rich and us working people even larger. Out of control housing costs, insurance premiums, gas, etc and no one protests. Meanwhile developers are making millions, entire communites are being wiped out to make room for million dollars houses, Oil/Gas companies are making record profits, employers cannot offer insurance to employees becuase of the super high costs. The types of jobs created are entry level and construction. More Americans are without medical insurance than ever and on and on...and yet no one protests....now if the favorite "American Idol" contestant loses - boy - will people protest...where are our priorities?
Now if you live with mommy & daddy and everything is paid for and are not out there in real world - of course it doesn't affect you and everything looks fine and dandy.

Because, it is not even close to being the worst. You really need to get a grip on yourself, take a deep breath, and get past this hyperventilating hyperbole.

There have been plenty of things to criticize Bush and the Administration about, but in America's history, even recent history, Bush is far, far from being the worst.

This administration is doing a pretty good job of representing my family and friends. Maybe you're the odd man out.

Get registered ! Vote ! Vote for anyone that's not a dem or rep.

They have ALL the power and ALL the control.

They must bear ALL the responsibility for their misdeeds and abysmally poor judgement.

It's time to them ALL in the unemployment line.

you have pretty good suggestions. The best way to voice the feelings is by voting. unfortunately, people like to whine more than vote. We are in the midst of a crisis of universal proportion and may be facing WW III. People are so blase about it.
