Most aftershave stinks. Urgh!! Especially if a man puts on far too much. Is he trying to hide something? What is really nice is a waft of Old Spice, or Brut. The operative word here is a waft, not a pong. Really, don't try to put on something that you know the ladies like but that YOU don't like yourself. You'll only end up torturing yourself.

Best have a look at the different options offered here by all the contributors and pick the smell you like the best, and in moderation.

I believe I already stated my preference? Brut or Old Spice, if I MUST select aftershave.

Alternatively, what's wrong with soap?

Uggh, i truely hate the scent of aftershave!

It's appalling and much too strong, whenever I see a man wearing aftershave I run like hell to the other side of the room.

I prefer colognes, not aftershaves. My husband wears Candies for Men and I love it. It's not nearly as pricey as some of the other colognes out there.

I don't really like aftershave. I like a man to smell like himself. The only artificial smell I llike on a man is patchouli. What a turn-on

Looks as if there's no definate answer, as it seems to depend entirely on individual female preference. As always, when its comes to the opposite sex there are no black and white answers. I just do what I do and what I feel comfortable with. That confidence transmits, man, and you'll have more success with that than anything else.
