I've been talking with an old boyfriend lately who I haven't seen in a few years. He lives in a different state. A friend of mine told me that he's married. He says no, but she's convinced. Any way of checking this out without spending a fortune?

Call the local courthosue where he lives marriage lic. are public information reqest a copy have it mailed to you if there is one.

A lot of counties have their marriage records online. If you know the county he lives in, try searching google for "county name" clerk of court. A lot of times there will be a link to the public records of that county that you can search by a person's name.
