I have mild acne in the T-zone and I really would like to have clear skin. What kind of results have you had with pro-active? Where can you buy pro-active?

Btw, I'm a 21 year old female. I've been off the pill for 8 months; the pill really cleared up my acne.... but it was never totally gone and the hormones really did a number on me.

I'm just wondering what kind of results others have had with pro-active.

I've been using a topical gel called benzaclin. It helps a little in controlling acne, but it also makes me face chemically peel... which is not so pretty.

Hellow, I'm 20 and I bought some ProActive up at the Mall. My acne isn't bad either but I also wanted to clear up my skin. I had great results within the first two weeks and then after that my skin dried out so much that it turned really flakey and kind of peeled. But everyones skin is different. I stopped using this liquid stuff you get called Toner and used all the other proactive things and it didn't dry out as much as it did before. But as for finding it you should call your local malls and see if they have a little kiosk set up if not you can wait for infomercials at night or order it off of the internet. Good Luck and hope I helped!

I'm 16 and I used ProActive for a little over a year and it didn't help my acne. But my acne was pretty bad and couldn't be classified as mild. I finally just quit using it and I switched to something else. I wash my face daily with St. Ives Blemish Fighting facewash, and then I put on Clearasil ULTRA Vanishing Acne Treatment Cream. It has worked wonders for my bad acne and it's much cheaper than buying ProActive. If you do want to get ProActive you can call the number they advertise on TV or I get those advertisment cards in magazines like Seventeen and CosmoGirl. Also you can go to their website www.proactive.com. The order toll free number on my last box of ProActive is 1-800-950-4695 and you can call 24 hrs. a day and 7 days a week. I hope I've helped you out.

I know what you mean about the Pill and hormones making your skin crazy. I had great skin until I got pregnant...and after the baby was born I went on the Pill and it got even worse. I was able to use an old home remedy of cleaning with witch hazel and moisurizing with aloe vera.

If you go to www.asseenontv.com you can buy proactive solution. I saw a commercial that said you could get a 30 day sample for only $20.00 if you are a first time customer. Since people said their skin was cleared within two weeks....you might want to give it a try just for the heck of it.

Well for the longest time I wanted to use Pro-Active, but I saw my doctor instead and I learned it really doesn't work as effective as you think. It's no better than other shelf acne products. If you really want something effective get a prescription for Benzaclin. It really works, but with all acne products you won't get abssolute perfect results and it takes time. Don't worry, no one has perfect skin and it only looks perfect because they cover it with concealer.

they say any other acne cream with benzoyl peroxide in it works just as well and most are cheaper than proactiv which claims to be different but has the same active ingredient: benzoyl peroxide. proactiv might just be a ripoff. i saw this on the news. try a cheaper acne medicine. proactiv may work (it doesn't always) but there are cheaper brands that work just as well or better. i use st. ives facial wash/scrub.

I haven't used it personally, but my brother uses it, and it works very well for him. You have to order it through a phone number that I don't know at this moment, but try googling it and you will probably get a website where you can either find the number, or find a way to order online.

It's true that it doesn't work the same way on everyone, but I'd say it's worth a try.
