Linen or hemp would make a nice bath scrub.

I would look for materials that will both be quick drying and yet soft. If you set your tension tight enough, that should have enough mmmph behind it to keep it scrub-like. Bumpy patterns like cables or just a simple garter stitch would be good too.

Acrylics are actually quite quick drying, but so are a lot of synthetics.

either use some sisal something or go buy one it's less hassle for you.
