I saw the Descent last night. It was really good, yes, there was ALOT of gore, but unlike SawII or Hostel, there wasnt much pointless violence or unneccesary gore, I highly recomend it if you're into horror flicks.
Oh, as for the comment someone sent "I saw the Descent last night, and then we theatre hopped into the movie where a friend moves in and screws up a newly married couple. Can't remember the name of it." The movie is You, Me and Dupree. I havent seen it yet.

I just saw Sense and Sensibility by Ang Lee. I had watched a version of the film in Tamil the night before. It was called I found it, with Aishwarya Rai. Both films are wonderful and capture that sense of helplessness of the girls as their fortunes change and they adapt to circumstances beyond their control.
