Do you prefer older teachers or younger teachers? Why?

I don't believe age really matters... It really depends on what kind of person that teacher is in the first place.

I like both. Younger teachers can relate to their students better because of the age difference. Older teachers know what to look for when a student is having trouble in class.

I generally prefer younger teachers as long as they can control the class. The older teachers don't relate as well and tend to be overly strict. At least, they were in my high school. Usually the younger ones knew how to deal with the crazier ones (like me) better.

Mostly around age 30 or older. It's just because I have had some younger teachers and most of the time, they don't relate to your life and think their class is the most important. Lots of them don't have enough experience and can't teach very well--but I did have one one time that taught really well.

Older teachers, not beyond the age of 60, though, have plenty of life experiences and teaching experiences that can bring much wisdom to a classroom. They usually teach me the most and are very understanding.

Also, school isn't always about fun and games, which younger teachers usually present.

I also like male teachers better, just because they aren't as picky and you can express your view about grades and other matters to them better.

I prefer older, on classes like my math and psychology courses,cause they seem to know more, and are experienced a lot more. Younger teachers are new, and aren't really sure whats going on.. In my opinion. I also prefer male teachers..

YOUNGER--younger teachers are fun, they give u more independence (in school) and most of them have gone through what the students go through so they have more knowledge and a fresh memory!

I know im a girl and everything but, i like younger teachers better because they are cuter. Old teachers are hags. NO OFFENCE TO ALL THE OLD TEACHERS OUT THERE!!!!!
