If Lebanon has an out-of-government-control terrorist militia entrenched near the Israeli border - why would Israel even consider getting out? Isn't the Lebanese government at fault for the hostilities by letting Hezbollah become cozy and integral in their land? Reminds me of Afghanistan Taliban government protecting Al Queda claiming they had to host their guests according to the Quran. The friend of my enemy is my enemy.

I support Israel. The 3 soldiers that were taken hostage were the final "straw". Why didn't all these countries demand the release of the soldiers at the beginning of this? Hezbolla knew that Israel NEVER leaves a soldier behind, alive or dead. This was started by Hezbolla to knowingly start a war! Israel is responding to being attacked by an enemy that hides among civilians, but also civilians that have been bombarded with brainwashing of becoming martyrs for Islam from the time they were tiny children. Prior to the bombing, Israel dropped thousands of leaflets telling civilians to not stay close to the Hezbollah rocket launchers. They stayed and now the world is outraged at civilians being killed, just like Hezbollah planned.
Israel has endured suicide bombings and killings of their people from the moment of becoming a nation in May of 1948. The UN is less than worthless. They have voted over and over against Israel in favor of her enemies that have openly stated that their goal is to "wipe Israel from the face of the earth".
Prophecy is being fulfilled. As a Christian I call for all Christians to get on their face before Yahweh and pray for Israel and His chosen people!!!

As far as I'm concerned, they have to finish what they started, and the Lebanese government has basically taken sides with Hezbollah, whether out of fear or the fact that hezbollah is a big enough part of the government. Before Israel finishes this campaign, there has to be no doubt who the victor is.

Israel should take out the terrorist. But by killing innocent people they are fueling more hatred towards them. The US shouldn’t even support Israel anymore. It’s a waste of taxpayer money.

I couldn't agree more. The sad thing is that you and I can see it, and most of the free world can see it, but the people in that region despise Israel so much, that they refuse to see it.
