To me, some teachers try to lower your GPA because they don't like you. In middle school, they tried to lower mine because this one punk that the teachers loved, worshiped, and obeyed did not like me and they had to what his parents said. Since we were enemies, the teachers started to dislike me. It started with lies. I was promised make up work since I could not attend school because a relative of mine was in the hospital and the school was doing a project and the teachers promised they would give me extra credit but they lied. Then if I was injured the teachers would yell at me especailly if someone hit me! Then I was a teacher aid and I went to tell the teachers about the one punk I mentioned. They did not believe me and they "fired" me. I was switched to a P.E class where 60 kids beat the crap out of me for the first day. Then the next day I went to the teachers and showed them my bruises and they thought I did that to my self and did not believe me at first. So because of some stupid bastard, the teachers gave me a ruff time and I still want revenge!!!
So my message is, teachers that don't like some kids will lower their GPA on purpose! Trust me I know they did it on purpose. When I asked for make up work, they said they did not have any of the stuff we did left and I saw the worksheets they were doing while I was gone right in front of me on the teachers desk and it was a fresh worksheet not a used one. The reason why they listend to that one brat is because his family is rich and from what I have heard, one of his relatives works at the Borad of Education. It makes perfect sense now does it?!

Are you accusing this teacher of unfair teaching ethics? If so, I would bring that to the attention of someone higher than your teacher. Usually a Dean is a good place to start. Bring all the proof you have that this teacher is purposly holding you back and let them know that you're striving for something higher. See what happens....

I've never had this happen. A teacher might be tough but I've never had one specifically single me out and give me a lesser grade.
I've often found the toughest graders cause me to work the hardest.

You are probably paranoid, they cant lower it without you not knowing the material, in other words if you pay attention and do the work correctly, you should do well in the class.

Teachers are as human as you are. All people have flaws and the biggest flaw is our instincts. When teachers become bitter they try to purposely fail their students.

How do they know your GPA? They would only know the specific grade for your class.

They don't try to lower your GPA. They try to push you to try your hardest and strive to do better.
