Laquondia, Laquondia,
Here's how I respond to ya,
I'd like a brimming pond o' ya,
Since I am awfully fond o' ya.

:o) (I know "fond o' ya" was previously suggested)

Use something else (two-syllable) for brimming if you like - that's all I could come up with quickly that fit.

You could always juggle the order of the words, so that the rhyming sequence doesn't have to go with that.

e.g. instead of "My darling Laquondia" try "Laquondia, darling mine..."

then you have the option of following with "I've loved you since the start of time."

Like I said, just an example, but I hope it shows what you can do with it... Might help the overall flow as well.

Laquondia, Laquondia, I'm so fon-di-ya. ("Fond Of You" but phonetically spelled out). Not exactly a word, but hey, it's worth a shot.

:o)

"frond for ya"
As in, "Oh, my friend Laquondia. I'll shade ya with a frond for ya." It would help to have some more palm tree references.
