Albannach: Let me inform you better. There are approx. 700k Independent voters, 600k Dem voters and 500k Republican voters in Conn. The Dem vote would not be "diluted" because people will mostly vote their party. The goal would be to take some of those Ind. votes, which won't be hard because Ind. voters LEAN toward Democrats instead of Republicans... MORON!

Lieberman and Lamont will probably wind up running. Lamont as the Democratic Candidate and Lieberman as an Independent. Thus, diluting the liberal vote and quite possibly assuring a Republican victory.

Hey KooKoo...you have to remember...republicans vote at a larger % than democrats...so yes...if you split the democrat and independent voters a republican can win...you are the moron. Also...if independents lean democrat, why did bush win in 2000 and 2004? You really need to learn more about politics.
