Heavy down pours casue rain water to rush in my garage, it has a slight slope, and the doors have been adjusted to prevent, what else can be done to stop the water from coming in?

because I can't see your garage it is hard to determine best cause of action .. sounds like you need to dig a new drainage ditch (like a french drain) away from your garage so the water has somewhere else to go . . where is your run off coming from . . the yard or the roof?

Usually, garages are designed to be slightly higher then your driveway to prevent water from flowing into it. If your is not, the next best thing to do would be to cut wawy the concrete in front of your garage and install a u-drain system across the front of the garage and route the outlet well away from the house. Home Depot sells these u-drains in small sections.
