I thin kthey should have pulled the caution after robby gordon and greg biffle wrecked then kahne would have been scored in 9th even if he still wrecked cuz the caution would have came out they really should have, dont you think?

Well, they wanted to finish the race under green. I think Robbie is a real jerk! Greg didn't deserve that!

Kasey was trying to get a spot from Tony. He didn't want to hit Tony & he ended up crashing himself. If they did throw a caution Kasey might not have wrecked, can't be sure though. NASCAR did what they thought was right. It was unfortunate that he crashed. I'm not a fan of his, but he was running well all day. I'm just glad that Kasey was okay, because that was one hard hit! Thank god for safer barriers! :)

I think that NASCAR did the right thing. The fact that Kasey Kahne and Tony Stewart were racing each other had ZERO to do with the other wreck, which was behind them. NASCAR didn't need to throw the caution because by the time it was known that the cars were not moving, the field had passed. With the leaders heading toward the checkered flag, what good would the caution have done? The only reason the caution was eventually thrown was for Kasey Kahne because there was other traffic coming through the incident.

I'm kinda torn here because I am a Johnson and Kahne fan! I was cheering that Johnson won, then I looked to see that it was Kasey that brought out the caution and I was screaming! Ugh, I don't know what exactly happened, their footage on it sucked! It looked like it was between Stewart and Kahne. See, here's the thing though, they were in the final lap and Nascar has it's rules, Johnson had that race, it just sucked the win was partially under caution! I felt so bad for Kahne, he had a top 10 for sure! Oh well, there's other races to come!

Oh ya kahne hit the wall hard. I dont know if they should have thrown the caution. It could have gone both ways. If they did throw it, it would have benefited some. By not throwing the caution it benefited others. They probably would have thrown it if the field was back further in that lap. Im sure Kahne was pretty upset. But its over and done with, now we all have to live with the results. I, myself im glad they didnt because it put my man (Dale Earnhardt)back in the chase by kahne falling back 4 positions in the points standings.

They should have put the caution out for Robby and Greg. Kasey would have finished 9 not 35. He would be in the top 10 not 11. Carl did not need to go under Kasey. If Carl did not gone underneth Kasey then Kasey would not have gotten lose and crashed. I guess everyone dose not want to get into Tony. I would have just ran into Tony. Glad he is ok. I think all of his fans are glad he is ok.

Agreed. Did you see the mayhem after the crash with cars flying thru the wrecked cars. Nascar says they are all about safety and then when something like that happens they hesitate throwing the caution. I like seeing races finish under green but that was scary after kahn hit the wall and then have cars filling by him at full speed to gain positions before caution came out.

I just don't know, I was glad at first they didn't throw the caution because I am a Jimmy Johnson fan, but I felt so bad when I saw it was Kasey Kahne, I like him to. They kept showing it over and over that boy hit the wall pretty hard and he looked really shook up when he went to the infield care center. It was a bummer.

I was so mad when Kasey wrecked. He was running so well all day and definitely should have had a top 10 finish. From the few clips they showed at the end it looked like Carl Edwards hit Kasey as he was passing Tony. I'm going to have to catch it on Speed to see if that is what really happened. I'm just glad is Kasey is alright though, he hit that wall pretty hard.

well, i havn't watched the tape and it's hard for me to make an accurate call on this..since it was on the backstretch that i couldn't see..
but my theory is if what nascar said was true that biffle and gordon were still mobile and back up to speed than no..the caution shouldn't have came out..
it stunk for the #9 team..but it's a racing deal and this is what they talk about when it's a whole lot more luck than anything..
