or you can be creative and make ur own version of a boardgame. My high school economics teacher made a funny version of Monopoly in which the jail is making you listen to a teacher's singing voice and you buy the best teacher's rooms, etc. hehe For that, you can buy fill in games like -Opoly and just fill in everything with name tabs, etc. It doesn't take much time either!

depending on the age i'd say young kids it would be hi ho cherryo for older kids dominoes helps with math skills and monopoly is always fun
