First off, I'm the mom not the dad. I was just wondering if I should go after the dad now that my children are grown. He hasn't paid a dime since the kids were 8 and 9 years old. I was just curious if I should still fight him or if it was up to the kids to go after what is owed to them.
And my nickname is Tom Welling because I am obsessed with Smallville.

court ordered child support.... Yes untill it is paid, regardless of their age.

After they are 18 you no longer owe it to the mother you owe it to the child. I assume your a man, why the name? I am sure it is safe to assume you are NOT Tom Welling.

Just because you didn't pay when you were suppose to and now your children have exceeded the age requirement you now owe what you haven't paid plus an enormous penalty for not providing such funds when they really needed it.

Yes. Back child support is to cover the expenses incurred when the children were dependents. Now pay your support, you deadbeat :)

Hell ya you should! They are his responsibility too, why should you be financially burdened ?! Take him to court, sue him, and get his pay garnished etc.
