It's a hoax. I was told that I had been awarded $500,000. As soon as you reply to this sort of thing with all details the nightmare will begin. They will use your details to commit crimes and you will never see your 'prize'. It's always best to remember: 'If it looks too good to be true it usual is.' Best to bin that unsolicited email.

Sorry it wasn't true.

It is a hoax. It really is. I hope you do not fall for this. They just did a study on this on Dateline NBC where majority of these scams comes from Ontario, Canada.

"URBAN LOTTERY INTERNATIONAL" is a fake lottery run by a gang in Nigeria.
You can find an exact copy of your email on: http://www.joewein.de/sw/419-urban-lottery.htm
You should report it to the computer crime unit in your country. You can find their email address on and more info on this kind of scam on:
http://home.rica.net/alphae/419coal/
I have received several similar emails in the last 6 months. I don't know how they got my address, I didn't receive any before.
I reported them all.

I have received many like this. If it sounds too good to be true.... Here where I live, Ontario Canada we are to report these scams to provincial police and they investigate. Sorry to have to break this sad news to you but sounds like you like myself must continue to be a member of the poor working stiffs.
