Israel is a nation that will never stop killing innocent people for as long as the US keeps backing them up. I feel our support of Israel is blind. We need to open our eyes and see that with different government policy this nation can do a lot better and have more allies and fewer countries that hate us. Many nations hate us becuase we support Israel.

Unfortunately the cause of freedom is a costly pursuit. Sadly, innocent lives are lost. Israel has been suffering the loss of innocent lives due to terrorism for a very long time. Homicide bombers have killed many Israeli citizens. The blame for the loss of Lebanese citizens' lives rests squarely on the shoulders of Hezbollah because they put their rocket and missile launchers in residential neighborhoods. They are hiding behind innocent civilians. So, when Israel goes after them the innocents get killed right along with the guilty. Israel has a right to defend itself. They are very vocal about their sadness over the loss of life for the innocent Lebanese people. The Israelis are NOT the terrorists. Hezbollah and Hamas are the terrorists.

Israel is not trying to kill innocent civilians, it is trying to kill Hezbollah terrorists and take out rocket launchers. The fact that Hezbollah puts those in civilian areas makes Israel's job difficult. A significant impact on Hezbollah's ranks and munitions would have to have an effect on Hezbollah's ability to kill Israeli civilians, something Hezbollah is intent on doing no matter whether Israel is bombing them or sending them roses. I think Israel already knows that killing innocent civilians is not the best way to gain public appeal, but that is not their goal either.

You got the first part right, this will never discourage them, but I don't agree with you that Hezbollah are terrorists, because you said it: killing innocent civilians. So who are the terrorists

How many of those innocent civilians are Hezbollah.. who have no uniform on? It has been exposed in the more recent news of the day, those children and others were planned to be killed for the propaganda effect.. they had willing accomplices in the media also. Fake pics and all.
I also wonder why the emphasis is always directed at Israel, relating to the killing of innocents.. What has been going on with all the suicide bombers, rockets etc... for how many years now? Is one not entitled to defend their homes?
Lebanon has allowed Hezbollah to take up military positions in their country, allowed them to infiltrate their government, how can they be held unaccountable for these omissions of good will?

I've a better question. When is the world going to recognise Hezbollah are terrorists and never target anything military? According to one post I just read Kofi Annan refused to classify Hezbollah as a terrorist anything.
Why does the press not recognise Hezbollah has fired over 2500 Katushyas at Israeli towns and NONE at military troops.
I don't see why anyone would class Israel as terrorist when at least they do try to target something that I would class as military in nature. Someone shoots at you and you shoot back. I call that self defense not terrorism. Why would you class it otherwise?

When will Hezbollah going to realize that by hiding amoung their women, children and old men are killing innocent civilians?
Answer: NEVER, because they don't care about anyone that does not believe the way they do..... even their own people.
Think about that for a while.
