Should the nba adopt international basketball rules?

I think there should be some type of common ground found between both parties so the game is more universal. I think an unfimilarity with foreign rules as well as poor coaching (Larry Brown) has contributed to us not finishing 1st in recent years. The rules appeal very much to foreign teams moreso than us. It's known that these guys can shoot the ball much more effectively than we generally can as a group. When you consider that the shot clock does not reset after a missed shot, and the fact that we played a slow pace game that wasted the shot clock, we were often denied second oppurtunities which dramatically weakened the effectiveness of the team. The changes made in USA Basketball to promote chemistry and continuity will gaurantee this. Contrary to what most believe, we still are the best country in the world at the sport and will be for years.

i don't think so, nba is the biggest basketball show on the planet ... if possible, it's better if the international governing body of basketball adopt the nba rules instead ...

Actually, basketball was invented in Canada...But if they did adopt international rules everyone would be draining three's...three point specialists would lose their job because everyone could shoot three's. So my vote is for no.
