Since there are many ways to bookmark - browser, through sites, making your own pages... I'll assume you mean in your browser.

While it is remotely possible that you've reached your limit on the number of bookmarks, I've never heard of it happening.

I'd suggest you go through your bookmarks and get rid of the ones you don't need / can't remember, if only to clear out the fluff.

Do the usual computer maintenance - virus and spy-ware scans, defrag your computer.

Although it may be just as simple as restarting your computer... it's amazing how many glitches that fixes.

If you're using Internet Explorer / MSN Explorer I'd recommend you try a much better alternative - Firefox.

Internet Explorer is big, slow, insecure and very out of date.

Firefox is sleek, fast, more secure, up to date, customizable... in fact, with just one add-on (free) you'll be seeing the internet practically ad free.

Firefox will copy your bookmarks over, so the move over is very fast.
