I have laughed when bad things have happened. It was not deliberate, it is just the way I am. Heck I laugh if I fall and get hurt. For some people it is just a nervous reaction, for others it is a sadistic reaction. Whatever the reason, it happens.
As far as letting the phone ring, I think that is really inconsiderate!
People have gone for years without having to hold a phone to their ear 24 hours a day. Cell phones serve a purpose and should be used for just that ... emergencies and such! If a call is that important they can leave a message or call back - on the home phone!! Geez, these cell phones are just like having a ball and chain.

I haven't done it and I won't - not deliberately.
What actually happened is that boyfriend and me were watching Interview With the Vampire in a really crowded theatre in a very small town - and we kept laughing all the time since we were truly convinced that the film was a comedy, all that pathos couldn't be meant serious - WE THOUGHT! After a while we had 'contaminated' our neighbours left and right and the people who sat in front of us.
I apologize to all fans of Interview With the Vampire, but that was one of the most ridiculous films I've ever seen.......

Ya...My friends and I went to see this Mel Gibson movie..and for some reason we could not stop laughing...it wasn't a movie to be laughing in..thats for sure...than this one guy behind me stood up and told us to shut up..
that make me laugh even harder...lol..
we stop laughing evently...because I really didn't feel like being kicked out of the show....
Another time I was with a different friend..and I really don't remember what movie we went to see...but in the middle of the movie her cell phone starts to ring...lol...and she couldn't seem to find it...she was like "where is my phone" as people are starting to look at us....lol...

during the movie "twister" at teh part when the cow comes flying at the screen and goes mooooooo( in an homage to 'the wizard of oz') i laughed so hard and loud....and was the only one in the theatre to do so...i could feel the looks i was getting even in the dark...
maybe they just didnt get the reference.....
