i don't think it's neccessarily being gothic to perform curses and such.. but some do it coz thay believe in that stuff. some do it either coz they feel they have no other choice [forced by peers] or coz they find it "cool and different." others wouldnt really give a shiz about what you [or what anyone else will] think so it doesn't really matter what comes up here..
AND THEN there are those who just wear black coz it's a nice, slimming color :] lol

Its a sign of our suffering. Black is an emotional color, so we decide to wear our feelings. I wear black because, my dad left our family awhile ago and feel very sad about it. To answer the second part of your question, Im guesing anyone who doesnt talk about how "cute" the jerk quarterback is, or talks about the new boots everyone is wearing, acts wierd. Im wondering if you even know where the term "goth" comes from. It was a very highly respected person in the middle ages.

I am not sure if Goth involves curses & rituals. However, all of this behavior is generally an attempt to gain attention. See, it got yours.

Don't generalize; it's individual own choice to dress in black and I am sure they aren't witches and don't perform curses and rituals on people..

well not all goth people are weird. some just dress in all black. but some are really nice. some are just creepy too. but dont judge people on how they look. everybody is different. so if they are goth. i guess they are happy inside. maybe not the out. lol

Because they believe in the devil. There are people that are not goth and wear black all the time...like for instance...benji madden...he's not goth...he's punk. And he likes black. Goth people believe that the color black is the color of satin (satin believer). They are just trying to be opposite of others. Thats goth people for you.

I really would like a goth person to answer this question for real. It seems like THEY do not know why they are trying to look this way. Are they depressed, or trying to shock people, or what?

Why do you care? Please keep in mind that tagging people as wierd is subjective. You may be surprised to learn that alot of of people ( myself included) enjoy watching others express themselves whether it be through dress, art, education or whatever. As long as they aren't hurting people why would you even care? I have a tremendous respect for people who step out of the so called "norms" of society. It's far more interesting and a hell of alot more courageous than being, acting ,looking, etc, how you think people want you to.

they are freaks who want to die not all of them though i have a friend who is so nice he would never ever hurt anyone and his curses and rituals never work lol jk corey
